For my multiple panels I wanted to challenge myself with pushing my love for color and "my own" art style further to create six different portraits. These six individual faces interplay between emotions, perception, and identity. The use of my expressive brush strokes create a feel of movement through bold and saturated color. I created an unrealistic yet realistic familiarity to each painting on its own. This helps invite viewers to look beyond the surface and engage to the emotional depth of my work. Tediously I made sure eye directions and placement of canvases would all play a role into the piece as a whole. Some eye directions can feel intimidating as if they are confronting the viewer directly creating a connection, as other's tend to be gazing and lost in other directions. As for the arrangement of canvases can further reinforce narrative to provoke contemplation and question the human expression with the use of my vibrant colors that define our existence.
