Reflection:
Overall, the quick challenges definitely challenged me. I learned a lot about creating texture and testing my artistic abilities with painting, drawing, and building. Every task gave me a broad range of ways to approach the assignment in weird and unrealistic ways. I learned that even without my typical painting style I still managed to use lots of color and made realistic objects larger. My favorite quick challenges were Spatial Tape, Conversations, and Draw on Objects. Although building and crafting objects was fun and tedious I found that sticking to traditional drawing and painting is something I will always go back to. Although I really enjoyed spatial tape and playing with scale. As for materials I would like to continue to explore would be mark making found within my Paper and Gesso pieces used with a palm leaf, along with the texture of mixing sand and acrylic paint for my beach painting in conversations.
